Graduated from the Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox University of Humanities and the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute. Since 2005, he has been working as a documentary filmmaker, mainly in the post-military space: Kosovo, the Republika Srpska, South Ossetia, the Crimea, the Donbass, and the Far East. The author of the documentary books-albums “Kosovo. Serbian Golgotha”, “South Ossetia: a View from the Inside”, “We Are Alive!”, and a photo exhibition “Kosovo – South Ossetia: A View from the Inside” presented more than 30 times in Russia and abroad. Member of the Writers’ Union of Russia. Member of the Union of Journalists of Russia and the International Federation of Journalists. “Portaitissa of Donetsk” is her debut as a film director.
