Jonathan Taieb started his career on several projects in the Provence region as a cameraman, assistant director, set decorator, among other roles. He directed his first short feature, «Vivre la bête» when he was 19 before writing, directing and producing several other shorts. At age 21 he moved to Paris where he spent three years developing, writing and financing his first feature-length, «Le Monde Doit M'Arriver», which had a successful run in the festival circuit and came out in theaters in France in the fall of 2013. His second feature, "Stand", a micro-budget Russian-language film that deals with homophobia that he shot - without speaking Russian - in secret in Ukraine in December 2013 will start its run on the festival circuit at Frameline in San Francisco summer 2014.
