Born in 1988 in Moscow.
After finishing school entered the VGIK (directors’ department) on commercial basis.
Year later was expelled for unsuitability for the occupation.
Was at a film studio’s beck and call.
In 2008 entered the VGIK again and was accepted for a government-financed place (workshop of Sergei Misoshnichenko).
Made 7 shorts from her own
scripts, participating and winning
awards at over 60 festivals
in 16 countries. Quadruple
winner of the St Anna festival,
prizes of the VGIK international
festival, Grand Prix of the 12th
International Kansk video festival,
and others. Currently is working
on her debut feature “Unsaintly”.
