Plot synopsis
Views of the Kama River and nearby landscapes. Timber cutting and removal, timber transportation by rail, timber rafting. A storage boom on the river, boom clearance, lumber grading. Kerchevsky floating depot.
Kerchevsky village: recreation centre, kindergarden, stadium. Rafts on the river. Solikamsk pulp and paper plant: manufacturing processes. Views of Solikamsk. Solikamsk potash industrial complex. Productionof selvynite at Solikamsk potash field. A monument to Russian architecture in Solikamsk.
Town of Berezniki: streets, residents on the streets. Saltpans and warehouses of salt factoryof the 18th century in the town of Leonov. Poleznenskie oil fields.
Construction of Kamskaya water power station. City of Molotov: river port, palace of culture named after Stalin, university, opera and ballet theatre, shops. Ships going along the Kama. Rye and clover fields on the banks of the Kama River.
