Plot synopsis
When perestroika began, Sergei Miroshnichenko began to fi lm seven-year-olds –those for whom a new life had begun in a country spanning one-sixth of the globe. The children were asked what made them happy and sad, about belief in God, about their country and its politics, about their hopes and dreams… As the years passed, every seven years the cameras returned to focus on their maturing subjects.
Now they are 28. How have they changed?
