Plot synopsis
Nenets Shashupi has devoted all his life and labor to his Motherland. Tirelessly he worked in the collective farm grazing reindeers. He alone brought up eight children. He lives on the border between two Russian territories rich with oil and gas. 60% of Russian oil is produced in Khanty-Mansiysk area, 90% of Russian gas is extract in Yamal area. The natural resources are of much importance for Russia but not for Shashupi. He cares only for reindeers and the land where they pasture. How does the Motherland treat one of her sons today?
