Plot synopsis
A Russian guy from the village of Svetlovodskoye in Kabardino-Balkaria, fought in the great war from the very first hours. He was wounded and was taken prisoner. He escaped. And then Ivan Timofeevich Baranovsky fought against the fascists side by side with the Italian Garibaldians. He fought bravely, symbolizing the great Soviet Union in the far-away Italian land.
