Plot synopsis
Drama / action.
1995. Afghanistan. a Russian cargo plane makes an emergency landing on an airfield in the capital of islamic terrorism – the city of Kandahar. Five russian pilots are taken hostage by taliban fanatics. They experience 378 days of hell. How do you not betray the fatherland if you are promised freedom in exchange? How do you not renounce your faith if you are granted life in exchange? How do you remain yourself – if this may cost you your life? The only way out is to run away. A plane awaits them at the airbase. On the runway there is a mine field; fighters aircraft are in the air; stingers are on the ground. But they have no other chance to return home …
