Plot synopsis
With this compilation of predominantly unknown and previously banned documentary footage, Marina Babak rewrites the history of the Soviet Union from the October Revolution to the present. The title of the film refers to the climate of glasnost and perestroika, in which the black holes of Soviet history are getting more and more light shed upon them.
