Plot synopsis
Loosely based on the play of the same title by Boris Lavrenev. Years of World War II. Eager to become famous captain Borovsky gave the commander of torpedo boats the wrong coordinates of the enemy location and violating the order attacked the enemy on his own. A Soviet torpedo boat is destroyed. Degraded to the ranks Borovsky redeems his fault.
