Plot synopsis
USSR, the Sixties. Army sergeant Viktor is young and handsome; his views on life are simple and pragmatic. He is willing to do anything to make a career. The influential army general appoints Viktor to be his own driver. He wants him to marry his limping daughter Vera. Viktor is ready to do anything for a chance to climb the greasy pole, and Vera does not notice his cold-blooded plot.
