Plot synopsis
A unique experiment is at the heart of this film. It more seems to be a plot from Edgar Poe’s novels, rather than modern reality. An experiment on the «uprise of maternal love» is being conducted in two Russian colonies. Not only convicted persons live in Russian colonies, but also… children. Children born behind the bars. They see their mothers only two hours per day. When turning three, children have to leave the zone. Most often they have to depart to the children’s home. It is expected that once the mother is free, she will take the child home. However, this is usually not the case. Maybe during the short dates, a mother simply does not have time to come to love her child? What if the kid spent the whole day with mother? Whom she/he be able to evoke love in mother?
