Plot synopsis
His name is Alex, but in the world of gamers he is known as Koss. The enormous amount of time he spends at the computer screen starts to pay off. In the game clubs in his small Ukrainian village, he is the undisputed king of the shooting game Quake, admired by the 'noobs' - the younger and less experienced players he repeatedly defeats. But there is also a different side to the story. The endless gaming is getting in the way of his study at a technical college, to the great dismay of his single mother who sees her son growing up into a good-for-nothing. Alex sees gaming as a solution to all his problems and step-by-step he strives to become the world champion. But is he going to win and will success bring him what he wants?
