Plot synopsis
About Russian poetess Kusmina- Karavaevskaya. After she had become the nun she took the name of Mother Maria. When in immigration in France she opened the asylum for unfortunate people. During the Second World war she was an active Resistance fighter and later she died in the concentration camp.
