After high school and military service, the main hero of the film Jenia Kulik (Andrei Tashkov) tries to enter the law school of a Higher Institution. But he fails the exams. Then he meets thugs in a park who beat him up. Koulik put off his college plans until the following year and enlisted in the police force. His debut aroused the hilarity of his superiors and even a little exasperation. However, things get serious when Jénia has to participate in the arrest of a dangerous criminal gang. And he finds himself alone against the boss of the gang.
