Plot synopsis
First Soviet musical film. The young country man Timosha loves playing the accordion especially in front of the girls. But he stops playing after being chosen leader of the local komsomol. He soon understands that to compete with kulak young men, the best way is to play better music. Taking back his accordion he gathers the other youths around him with his lively and merry songs.
