Theatre and film director, actor. Born
in Murmansk in 1987. Graduated
from the Theatre Academy as actor
(2011, class of V. Filshtinsky), then
received his diploma in directing (2014). From
2013-2015 head of St Petersburg’s Etude Theatre.
Founder of the independent theatre association
Invisible Theatre (St Petersburg). Directed over
30 productions in different cities of Russia (Moscow,
St Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Ozersk, Perm, Yekaterinburg,
Saratov, Kazan, Omsk, Naberezhnye Chelny,
Novosibirsk, etc). Winner of the festivals Small Cities
of Russia and Direction Lessons, twice nominee
of the Breakthrough award. Teaches theatre arts.
Leading role in Kirill Serebrennikov’s film “The Petrovs
in the Flu”. “A Man from Podolsk” is his directorial debut in feature films.
