Plot synopsis
A boundless steppe scorched by the sun. It is hot and windy. This is Altai. Not long ago, strings of camels were walking through these places in the wavering haze of the sultry air. They carried salt, without which not a single lunch, breakfast or dinner could be done. Now, instead of camels, trains run along the railroad tracks, and there is the same salt in the carriages. The railroad tracks go straight into the lake. In the distance one can see some strange working unit. The water is crimson. It feels like this is another reality. Nature, ecology, and humanity. How do they affect each other? How do nature and ecology change from human activity? How do people survive in new conditions? This is what our film is about.
