Director, scriptwriter, producer. Graduated
from the faculty of journalism of
St Petersburg University (1991), from the
directors’ faculty of the Shchukin Theatre
School (1996). For ten seasons headed the
children’s and youth programming of the
television and radio company Petersburg
Fifth Channel. Director and producer of
youth serials “OBZh” and “Senior Pupils”,
in ten years released over 1,100 series. For
this work he received the title “Merited
Contributor to the Youth Policy of the
Russian Federation”. Worked as director
of serials and television fi lms for various
federal channels, among them “Mama
Lyuba”, “Hasten to Love”, “Embrace Me”,
“In the Garden or the Vegetable Patch”,
“Another’s Woman”, “My White and Fluffy
One”, “I Cannot Forget You”, etc. He wrote
scripts and produced television projects.
“Hurrah! Holidays!” is his directorial debut
in full-length cinema.
